If you are interested in Hill Country golf, these are current reviews for White Bluff Resort:

“Well worth the drive, you won’t be disappointed!”

“We’ve played a large number of courses including PGA

Tour courses, and this course deserves praise.”

“White Bluff Old Course is going to be our go-to course.”

“The greens and bunkers are superbly maintained.”

Wow! This is what happens when people work together on something they absolutely love.

Both courses were designed by Bruce Lietkze, Texas native and PGA Tour golfer. The Old Course opened in 1992 and the New Course went into play in 1998.

The New Course today is considered to be the more demanding of the two for several reasons to include an extra 338 yards in length, 30 bunkers, and water on 16 of the 18 holes. It is open to play Thursday through Sunday.

Some say the Old Course is more strategic and maybe a little more fun to play. It certainly has the best scenery on the back nine, which also happens to be the most difficult to play. This course is open to play Saturday through Wednesday.

The location of White Bluff Resort along Lake Whitney couldn’t be better for access from both the DFW Metroplex and Austin. The Hill Country golf resort also draws well locally. Mulligans, the restaurant on the New Course, serves a good menu with specials and has been a nice addition to the resort.

Current reviews, accolades, positive feedback and increased play are the reward for the new property owners’ investment in property improvements. Part of that investment included some pretty heavy property owner volunteer work that began with personal lawnmowers and ended with 2 beautiful championship golf courses in pristine condition.

The White Bluff Property Owners Association took over ownership of the amenities of White Bluff Resort in October, 2018 and began work to renovate both courses to include replacing the turf on all 36 greens with Tifeagle Bermuda – How many of you know what sprigging is? This group knows! All of the bunkers were reworked for improved drainage, new bunker sand replaced the old.

The original course design was not changed but work was done to maintain the trees, worn equipment was replaced, carts were cleaned and refurbished, and the list goes on. Thank you to the White Bluff Property Owners Association for its efforts in renovating these two beautiful championship courses in one of the finest Hill Country Golf settings. Rural enough to the enjoy wildlife, tranquility, and beautiful old trees.

Come play with us! Tee times are available, and the rates are reasonable.
